Cosmic Chrono | Quality Assurance & Returns Protocol
At Cosmic Chrono, precision is our baseline. To ensure that every explorer receives a timepiece in peak operational condition, we maintain a rigorous quality-control cycle. Our return protocol is designed to protect the integrity of our celestial collection and the investments of our global community.
1. The 7-Day Discovery Window
We provide a 7-calendar day window from the moment of confirmed delivery to report any discrepancies. This window is strictly for identifying transit damage or factory-level mechanical irregularities.
- Finality: To maintain our inventory flow, return requests initiated after this 168-hour window will not be eligible for processing.
2. Eligibility: The “Pristine Orbit” Standard
A return is only authorized for verified mechanical malfunctions or shipping errors. To qualify, the timepiece must remain in “Zero-Gravity Condition”:
- Unworn Status: The watch must be completely free of wear. Any evidence of use, including hairline scratches on the lugs or “desk diving” marks on the clasp, will void the return.
- Intact Seals: All factory protective films, “Cosmic Chrono” security stickers, and hang-tags must remain undisturbed. Removal of protective plastic constitutes acceptance of the watch.
- Complete Universe: The return must include the full original kit: the outer mission box, inner display case, technical manuals, and international warranty cards.
3. Mandatory Unboxing Protocol (Security First)
To provide an indisputable record of the watch’s condition upon arrival, we operate under a “Verified Arrival” policy:
- The Video Requirement: You must record a single, continuous, uncut high-definition video. The footage must begin with the sealed shipping package (showing the tracking label) and continue through the unboxing and initial inspection.
- The Consequence: This video is your primary insurance. In the absence of a continuous unboxing video, Cosmic Chrono cannot verify the origin of the damage, and the claim will be automatically forfeited.
4. Non-Returnable & Final Sale Items
The following items are considered Fixed Orbit and are not eligible for return:
- Sized Bracelets: Any watch where links have been removed or the leather strap has been buckled (leaving a crease).
- Customization: Any timepiece that has been personalized or engraved.
- Archive Sales: Items purchased during “Final Frontier” clearance events or explicitly marked as Final Sale.
5. Logistics & Reimbursement
- Authorization (RMA): No returns will be accepted without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by our mission control team.
- Transit: The client assumes responsibility for return shipping. We mandate using a trackable, insured courier for the full retail value. Cosmic Chrono is not liable for returns lost in transit.
- Technical Inspection Fee: A 5% restocking and re-certification fee is applied to all returns. This covers the multi-point technical inspection required to re-authenticate the movement’s frequency and water-resistance seals.
- Refund Processing: Upon successful authentication by our watchmakers, refunds are credited to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Precision in Every Second. Integrity in Every Transaction.
